Oiry (51) Mont Aigu Site – Landscape composition
The landscape concept must highlight the company’s sensitivity to biodiversity, while also adapting to the evolving nature of this industrial site.
Ultimately, the approach aligns closely with the principles of land art, emphasizing the site’s structural lines.
Long linear features will follow the boundaries of the site—boundaries that will no longer be subject to changes in land use.
These lines are composed of a succession of strips of varying lengths, constantly shifting in their alignment. Their planting will reflect the natural vegetation of the Champagne chalklands, known as savart. As such, herbaceous savarts, shrubby savarts, and wooded savarts will follow one another, creating a rhythm along the full length of these lines.
Finally, the composition and management of the meadows will also contribute to reading the decomposition of this landscape structure.
