Joinville : Outdoor areas of the Joseph Cressot school complex (52)
This school complex is located on the top of a farming hill. It has such an obvious connection to the site that everything going along could seem unnecessary. Nonetheless, the construction habits lead us to consider a planted thread around the school complexe project.
The simplicity brought here by the architecture drove us to the creation of a green linear bushlike thread that highlights the movements of the ground and contribute to the local biodiversity. Those tree-filled lines show a close relation to the movements of the ground driving the runoff of rainwater. This layering of environmental aspects drew its inspiration in some simple plants colonisation principles to help the plants finds better growing conditions.
